Its a faction that you need multiple players to take down. I hope they don't become too bad in the long run, I've read bad things about them being unbalanced To boldly go a subreddit for Star Trek: Bridge Crew (cross-play between PS4, Quest and PC, VR Star Trek Bridge Crew Nexus The Morrowind May Modathon 2021 starts today celebrating 19 years of modding for The Elder Scrolls III. It's my second play as the federation and I choose the biggest star sistem map with 10 players, one of them is the borgs and 3 hours into the game they colonized 1/4 of the map and killed one AI player. There are no super weapons either if I remember correctly, which personally I think makes for a better game play experience. The maps are good, you've got all new types planetary systems including gas giants, super gas giants and ultra gas giants which can all be colonised.
You are very limited with how many units you can build as the Borg though, which does bring the balance back a little bit(and only a little bit) but it's still way too much in my opinion. They don't have shields, but they have unreal amounts of hull points and very strong fire power. They're all fun to play, but I do feel the Borg are vastly over powered. You can play as Federation, Klingon, Borg, Cardassians(who can call on Species 8472) and Romulans.
